Zink is one of the minerals widely studied and used for acne treatments mainly due to its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. Zinc helps with healing rashes, rejuvenation, and wards off an itchy scalp. It works as an antioxidant, and considerable scientific research has shown that zinc reduces sebum secretion by inhibiting 5-alpha-reductase. Seborrhoea regulation is androgen-dependent, in particular by testosterone. Every target cell of the sebaceous gland contains an enzyme, 5 alpha-reductase, that converts testosterone into dihydroxytestosterone (DHT). DHT acts on the activity of the hair follicle, causing the stimulation of the sebaceous glands and this results in an increase of sebum production

Aqua (Water), Sodium hyaluronate, Zinc PCA, Lactic acid, Propanediol, Citric acid, Tartaric acid, Gluconic acid, Polysorbate 80, Parfum, Citral, Limonene, Geraniol.

Clean the skin prior to application. Apply a few drops to the skin in the morning and evening. A moisturiser can be applied over the top. Use one of our sunscreens in the daytime.

Once opened, use within 6 months.
