The Matcha tea leaf water is obtained by steam distillation and is destined to become the favourite ingredient of the cosmetic industry without a doubt.  Known by many as a ‘health plant’ by excellence, it prevents oxidative stress but it also stimulates micro-circulation to detoxify the skin and thus slow premature skin ageing. The Matcha tea mist is rich in amino acids, polyphenols, minerals and caffeine - all of which help detoxify and boost the skin's health 

A genuine symbol of both luxury and tradition, Matcha Tea is often described as the ‘green gold of Japan’. Matcha Tea is Chinese in origin but has built its reputation in Japan in the 16th Century when it was introduced into the Tea Ceremony, in order to approach tasting from a spiritual angle of harmony, respect, purity and peace of mind. Produced solely from Tencha Tea, its leaves are processed by a meticulous and ancestral technique, before being transformed into a very fine green and shimmering powder which catches the eye at first glance.  I love Matcha Tea so much that I even drink it twice a day.  Its health benefits are astounding! 

Along with Matcha Tea the formula includes Gluconolactone which is a naturally occurring polyhydroxy acid (PHA) with moisturising, purifying and antioxidant benefits. Its ability in free radical and antioxidant properties protect the skin from some of the damaging effects of UV radiation. Gluconolactone offers all the skincare benefits of AHAs but is more gentle to the skin and has been observed to be as effective as benzoyl peroxide (often a prescribed medication) in the treatment of acne.

Sodium salicylate has been added as it is a sodium salt of salicylic acid, which also helps to minimise the accumulation of oily breakouts and strengthen the skin barrier function.
The formula suits all skin types but is mainly suitable for normal to oily skin. And... it doesn't contain alcohol making it even more skin friendly!

Aqua (Water), Butylene glycol, Camellia sinensis leaf water, Polysorbate 80, Gluconolactone, Triethylene glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium salicylate, Parfum.

After cleansing, apply the toner, spraying over the face and neck. Do not rinse off. Follow with the rest of your morning or evening skincare routine. For daytime, always finish with a broad-spectrum sunscreen.

Once opened, use within 6 months.
