This incredible gel-lotion is the ultimate product for those of us wanting to get more out of our skin-care routines.

This AHA formulation contains mandelic acid and malic acid with a 2.5 ph.

The protective and moisturizing qualities of malic acid, the lotion will take about 10-15 minutes to fully sink into the skin. The skin will feel slightly sticky at first, then the MaMa lotion will dry to an ultra smooth, glowing finish that will draw compliments throughout the day.

Mama Lotion is very potent, it is important to test sensitivity in a small area.

Apply a thin layer to clean skin every other day for first two weeks.
If any excessive peeling or irritation occurs, stop use for 7 days then resume application - applying once or twice a week.

• Flaking is normal for the first few weeks.
• Avoid eyelids and lips. For external use only.

Please A stinging sensation is almost always present when you first apply Mama lotion, this is normal,. the stinging stops within 30-40 seconds. The initial sting is caused by the acids entering the skin.

When using MaMa Lotion on dark skin it is very important to start slow and gradually increase the usage to obtain the best results.

1. For most people who have never used these active ingredients on the skin we recommend using MaMa Lotion no more that twice a week for the first few weeks up to one month.
2. Gradually increase usage to every other day as tolerated. It is quite for some of us to be able to use this product everyday, but some of us may not be able to.
3. Mild peeling is expected, but if the skin becomes irritated, red, or inflamed this may cause darkening of the skin (post inflammatory hyperpigmentation). If your pimples heal with brown coluor that lasts for weeks or months, you are at risk of post inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
4. More is not always better. If the skin does become irritated,
   1. Stop using MaMa Lotion for a few days.
   2. Use only a good gentle moisturizer such as Moisturizing Cream .
   3. Sun Protection must be worn and stay out of direct sunlight.
   4. Within a few days the MaMa Lotion may be started again.
5. Ultra sensitive, we would recommend applying the moisturizer first to seal the skin and then apply the MaMa Lotion over the top of the Moisturizer (reverse order).
6. Remember the key to success is to use enough MaMa Lotion to lighten the skin or clear up the acne but not so much that the skin is irritated and at risk of hyper-pigmentation.
7. A wide brimmed hat is also important to give maximum protection to the face from the sun.

Other areas of skin/body will do best if irritations and abrasions are avoided and the areas are kept well moisturized and protected from the sun.

My skin was getting a bit dull looking, I dreaded the cost of going though another Nu-Derm treatment....So I tried MaMa. I love it. Without a doubt you feel the tingle, but it is worth it! After about two weeks, my skin looks like it did two years ago after (healed) laser. I got the bonus plan with this product...smaller pores!!! This is the best product I have ever used (including) Obagi!!!!

I received a sample of this when I was ordering another product. I had Keratosis Pilaris on my arms and melasma on my face after the birth of my first child. After 1 week, I saw results in both places. It is like a miracle gel. I continued using it and have since had my 2nd child. My melasma never came back as severe. I had tried Tri-Luma and peels in the past for the melasma and nothing gave me the results that this lotion did. I highly reccommend it. It seems to help the fine lines around the eyes as well. It does everything! I'm really surprised doctors don't reccommend it.

I only used this once and already love it. I put it on one night and the next day my face never felt so smooth. I suffer from acne and acne scars and I've literally tried everything. Nothing has worked like it said it was. So I started looking at laser removal(coolaser, fraxel, coolbeam, smoothbeam, etc). These procedures were way too expensive and the results only lasted up to a yr. and then you'd have to get more done. So then I really started giving up hope until I came across this website and read the reviews and thought I'd give it a try. My face felt smooth the next day and then the day after my face started to peel (just like it said), I havn't broken out any more than I already am. My scars seem a little lighter. I started using this 3 months ago and it has helped me to control my skin so much. I am African American and have had constant acne since I was 21. I've tried everything you can name including Proactive and the dermatologist. Mama lotion has controlled the breakouts, smoothed my skin texture, and mimimized the look of my pores. The dark spots I have are slow to fade but it's getting there. It does sting but it's worth it. Suprisingly I can use it every night. I also spot treat with it during the day if I feel a breakout coming on and in a couple of days it shrinks away.

I typically don't write product reviews, but after using MaMa Lotion for 2 months and seeing the amazing results, I felt this was the least I could do. I have melasma, mostly on top of my nose and sides of my face along my cheek bones. It's hereditary, also due to use of birth control pills and hormonal changes. I have tried almost every product available in the market, visited numerous dermatologists, spent $100's of dollars and nothing ever worked. I used prescription products containing the maximum amount of hydroquinone, Lustra and Tri-Luma. Tri-Luma is supposed to be the most effective prescription treatment for melasma, it's very expensive, $120 for one tube. I didn't see any improvement after using these products! The dark spots on my nose and cheeks never faded away. Tri-Luma is only supposed to be used for 8 weeks since in addition to hydroquinone also has steroids which can cause skin atrophy. I did start seeing a little bit of this on my skin after only 6 weeks of using this product. MaMa Lotion is the best product I have used in the last 8 years. I recommend it to anyone who suffers from dark spots on their face, hands or any other part of their body. The product causes a slight peeling at first, but if you start using it according to the instructions, you should not have any problems. My skin is very sensitive; MaMA Lotion is wonderful since it only causes a slight peeling of the areas where I have applied it. Take my word, if you have any type of discolorations on your skin, try this great product, you will LOVE IT!

Why does this product make you break out?I read about the history and making of the product and it says that its supposed to get rid of acne and keep it away.Can anyone who has tried Mama lotion please tell me why this is.

I am almost 25 and i have always had mild acne. Its not horrible but any pimple i have leaves behind an ugly reddish purple scar.I cant wait to try this i really hope it comes through for me.I've tried everything!
