Lasers and the law

The Care Standards Act 2000 requires businesses providing treatments using lasers or Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) to:

• Display a certificate of Registration with the Healthcare Commission
• Comply with the Regulations and Standards
• Be inspected by the Healthcare Commission
