Vascular lesions are abnormally large, visible blood vessels situated close to the surface of the skin, resulting in unwanted red colouration of the face and disfiguring of the legs. A variety of conditions fall within the category of vascular lesions which can be treated by Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) and/or Laser systems:

Deep vascular lesions, such as leg veins, typically require treatment with a laser to achieve satisfactory results. We recommend the long-pulsed Nd:YAG laser for treatment of leg veins and vessels above 0.5mm diameter. Laser treatment gives an alternative choice to other removal techniques, such as sclerotherapy, and can help remove any vessels that remain after sclerotherapy treatment.
