FACIAL REVOLUMISATION
Non-surgical facelift and facial revolumisation
Juvéderm® VOLUMA® is an injectable hyaluronic acid volumiser that recontours the face to restore volume to chin, cheeks, and cheekbones that have become hollow or thin due to weight loss or age-related facial fat loss. Immediately after treatment, you should notice that your facial contours appear fuller and rounder . . . giving your face a softer, more youthful appearance.
What is Juvederm Voluma?
Voluma is a hyaluronic acid based injectable that is used to restore facial volume. Voluma is not a dermal filler but is injected into the deeper subcutis layers and fat pads of the skin to restore volume or to enhance. Voluma is part of the "juvederm family".
Voluma is a very specialised treatment ocurrently only performed by a limited number of Nurses & Doctors in the UK at the current time. As it is injected deeper in the face a good knowledge of anatomy is required to ensure safety and a good result.
Voluma is used for:
Mid face
Cheek enhancement- Voluma is an excellent product for cheek enhancement. Although it is structurally strong it is soft and does not form lumps like some of the other cheek volumisers. It also has a strong humectant effect in that it attracts water leaving a softer, plumping effect not seen with other products. Its smooth viscosity allows it to be injected with a relatively small needle that therefore minimises bruising to give an immediate effect.
Cheek re-volumisation
Voluma is good not only to add contour to a face but also to replace volume and reverse the sagging that we get with weight loss be it age related or otherwise.
Lower face
Restoring volume in the mid face helps lift the sagging jawline and nasolabial fold.
Chin augmentation
We have had excellent results with chin augmentation. For improving cleft chin and also for chin augmenation.
Voluma is a very specialised treatment area therefore if you are considering this treatment we would advise that you make an appointment with one of our Nurse specialist. For patients with loss of volume it is always very useful to bring a photo from 10-15 years earlier for comparison.
